If you’re looking for a way to help support the Penrose Commons trail system and give back to the sport, what better way than to join RRMMC on National Public Lands Day for a work party with the BLM Royal Gorge Field Office and Motorsport Masters.
Come out in the morning for 4-5 hours of work, including setting permanent fire rings at a new campsite loop. We’ll have lunch ready when you are done, then take the afternoon and go out and ride the trails with your buddies.
•Meet at the Penrose Commons TH
•Be ready to work by 9:00am. There is a mandatory safety meeting and overview of the day’s work plan.
•Appx 1:00 PM, work concludes.
•Lunch will be provided at the work site!
We’ll provide tools, materials, and lunch, but recommend you bring your OHV, safety gear, work gloves, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, water, snacks, and anything else you would want to have on a trail work day.
