About the event

Lake District Mighty Hike 2025

In June 2025, three of our Histology team members will challenge themselves by participating in the MacMillan Lake District Mighty Hike to raise money for people living with cancer. This 25-mile hike starts in Penrith, ascends Gowborrow, and circles Ullswater. It is certainly an ambitious task, but they are excited for the challenge!

They aim to reach a £750 pledge, which can fund three Macmillan Nurses for a day, providing essential medical, practical, and emotional support to people living with cancer and their families.
