A Plastic-Free Evening at Another Weigh Penrith

Join us at our Penrith shop for an evening highlighting the continued issue of single-use plastic. Amy Bray, founder and head of our parent charity Another Way, will speak and lead discussion with a panel featuring: Helen Attewell of FutureProof Cumbria; Councillor Mark Rudhall of Westmorland & Furness and Penrith Town Councils; and Scott Jackson, manager of the Penrith shop.

Demonstrations of our regular work filling containers will also be available for the uninitiated, showing how easy it is to get the right quantities for a Christmas cake or mincemeat recipe. There’s even an on-the-night-only 5% discount on Christmas cake ingredients!
