Are you a dog owner or someone looking after dogs?

We all want to keep our dogs safe but would YOU know what to do if:

* Your dog collapses on the floor, or

* Your dog gets stabbed by a tree branch and starts to bleed heavily, or

* Your dog is having a seizure, or

* Your dog suddenly chokes, or

* Your dog gets bitten by an adder?

Sadly, these are not fantasy scenarios, they are real things that do happen! We all hope that they won't happen to us but it's always best to be prepared.

If YOU don’t want to feel powerless in such an emergency situation, please come and join us on our 1 day Canine First Aid Course in Tremadog. No previous knowledge is needed.

Under the guidance of our renowned canine expert Rachel Bean RVN MCFBA you will learn:

• How to stem a bleeding by applying a pressure bandage
• Practical bandaging on real dogs – paws, head and ears
• Identify the signs of poisoning
• To understand the emergency of a gastric torsion (twisted gut)
• Resuscitation (CPR)
• How to deal with choking
• What to do if your dog is having a seizure

OFQUAL Level 3 Qualification Option is also available for this course. Please discuss details with Rachel.
