Burning River Endurance Run & Relay - Course Marking - Pine Hollow

The group will break into small teams and mark Salt Run, Cross Country, and Pine Grove Trails. Most of the teams will be running/jogging easy as they are marking. The TNGR group will be leading this effort. If you are interested, we will likely go to dinner afterwards - most likely Panini’s on Steels Corners Road by Rt. 8 in Stow since they are open late. (Jason Thibault will be leading).

At the beginning of the session we will review how to course mark. We will try to pair someone new to marking with someone who knows what they are doing - and knows the trails/course. A lot of the time when marking we are hiking, so if you are not running or worried that we’ll be too fast for you, you have nothing to worry about. If we have a large turnout, we will split into small groups and cover as much of the course as we can.

Please bring a light backpack to carry supplies, a hammer, long phillips screwdriver, and a staple gun if you have one. You will also want bug spray, sunscreen, water/sports drink to hydrate, and comfortable hiking/running shoes.

Please sign up as a volunteer and receive credits towards races and merchandise.
