Reclaiming Movement
We have all seen babies evolve from newborn to walking beauties. The progress from random kicking, punching movements to rolling, crawling, standing to eventually moving with Gazelle like Grace.
How did we lose this? Steps we missed in childhood development or from child to teenage body, Pregnancy/birth, accidents, menopause, sitting at desks or even too much exercise can misalign our structure & movement.
But we can relearn these, so able to sit without leaning, stand without falling, lift with strength, stretch without pain.
Using Dynamic Neuromusclular Stabilization (DNS)techniques that are simple, yet strong with the integration of breath, we can connect the joints and muscles through the muscle chains.
Lilian is an Experienced DNS practitioner and teacher studying with the originators of DNS, a specialist Physiotherapist she found DNS filled in the gaps that allowed people to take back their ability to manage their own bodies, no longer dependant on short term quick fixes. She has been practising and teaching for 13 years
Lilian will be running a 10 week Certificate program at OWL Center for Peace as part of OWL’S Creative Learning Academy. Limited to 10 participants, each participant will have the opportunity to identify their own individual issues so they can create their own movement practise that can be done only needing 10- 15 minutes a day. Imagine seeing your muscle strength, tone and flexibility increase with only 15 minutes a day
