Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo (or “CBD”) has been called “today’s country blues at its very best” by Living Blues Magazine, who crowned Erin “one of the finest fingerpicking acoustic blues singers in the land”! Quickly becoming considered one of the premier fingerstyle blues players today, the award-winning guitarist has earned a reputation as a captivating performer and passionate purveyor of the vintage country blues and roots music she was brought up on. Together with her husband/longtime musical partner, bassist Jim Countryman, the two put out a formidable sound that gets you moving (both doing double duty – Erin on vocals, acoustic guitars, foot percussion & kazoo, complimented by Jim’s ukelele bass & vocals). Their latest album, MEET ME IN THE MIDDLE (which was recorded in the couple’s home studio in Boston during the Covid-19 lockdown) was named “Album of the Year” by the New England Music Awards!
