2025 Chimney Swift Release

Join Alabama Audubon and the Alabama Wildlife Center for a special evening as we release approximately 25 chimney swifts, all banded as part of Project Safe Flight. Before the release, Lianne Koczur of Alabama Audubon will share insights on the importance of this conservation initiative.

We’ll gather at 6:00 p.m. in front of the State Park Office at 200 Terrace Dr., Pelham, AL 35124. The program will begin with remarks from our guest speaker, followed by the release at approximately 6:30 p.m. This event is free with paid admission to Oak Mountain State Park!
