Skimmee Aile (Manx for "Fire team") are pleased to announce our first beginners fire workshop on Sunday 31st August at 7pm in Peel 🔥
This workshop is designed for beginners and newcomers to fire performing, and we guarantee you will go home with a big smile on your face!
We will begin in Peel Masonic Hall where you will be shown a selection of different fire toys along with demonstrations of how to use them. We have fire poi, fire fans and fire staff to choose from.
You will additionally be given fire safety training which is essential before you start playing with real fire.
There will then be an opportunity (weather permitting!) to go down onto Peel beach, where we will show you how to light the equipment and get comfortable with the flames.
There is absolutely no pressure once we are on the beach but our team will be there to support you and guide you.
The session will be around 2 hours - what else would you be doing on a Sunday evening?!
