Info: Alexia Tate founded Peek-a-Boo Family Music in 2017, after moving to the Hudson Valley from Queens, where she taught Music Together® for three years and founded Story Garden, a musical storytime for young children. As a Music Together parent, Alexia fell in love with the philosophy of the class and decided to do the teacher training, which led to an even stronger passion for the program. She has been awarded both Music Together Certification Level I and Certification Level II status, having demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education. In addition, she has completed the Berklee Accessible Music Education Study Group, intended to provide educators with unique learning opportunities to develop their skills in working effectively with students with disabilities in arts classrooms, ensemble, and studio settings.
