Adult Member - £5 medical cover
Junior Member - £5 medical cover
Adult Cap (Over 16) - £10 plus £5 medical cover
Junior (16years & under) - £5 plus £5 medical cover
⭐️ This is an experienced ride open to all ages of adults & children, both members or non members as well as Visiting Principals
This Ride is for EXPERIENCED RIDERS ONLY and will have open hill riding in Walk, Trot, Canter and Gallop aswell as a ford at Lyne Water. Riders must ensure they have control of their mount at all times! ⭐️
🏆We have the Nancy Burnett trophy up for grabs which will be presented to the best turned out horse and rider 16years and under (open to members only).
We also have the May Bryce Memorial trophy up for grabs which will be presented to the best turned out horse and rider over 16years of age (open to all members aswell as non members).
Both will be judged in the car park 9.45am sharp.🏆
Lunch stop will be at the bottom of the Black Barony Drive, Eddleston around 1pm (do not park any cars on the drive please)
🌟WRISTBANDS🌟 Can we please make you aware that for the Ride ALL RIDERS AGED 16 AND UNDER must wear a wristband with an emergency contact name and number. These will be available from committee prior to the ride departing (flashes will be distributed when you have been given your wristband). Riders not wearing wristbands WILL NOT BE PERMITTED on the ride.
All riders aged 16years & under must have a named adult participating on the ride responsible for them.

❗️ RUBBISH, DUNG & HAY - Please note that we are once again granted permission to use this car park as a start and end point for our May Ride. However, as this is an active public car park, we politely request that riders, horse handlers and equine transport, pick-up all rubbish and dung, remove dropped hay left by your horses and take this away in your equine transport ❗️
⚒️ FARRIER - We will once again be welcoming Andrew D. Winton Farriery & Blacksmith, who will be available both in the morning in the car park and during the half way point at the Black Barony ⚒️
🍔 CATERING - There will be a BBQ available at the half way point, which will be serving burger rolls, hot and cold drinks. (Gluten Free & Vegetarian options available) 🍔
