Join us at Pechey State Forest for a training weekend!
Passing training: 3pm
Saturday Drivers Meet-4:15pm,
Start at 4:30pm
Sunday Drivers Meet: 6:30
WEATHER PERMITTING.
Event site: Our tracks will be located on the right hand side of the New England HWY when headed from North from Toowoomba. Turn off at Grapetree Rd and follow the Yellow "Sled Dog Racing"Signs to the marshalling area.
Look out for the Yellow Sled Dog Racing signs and follow the Arrows from the HWY.
Camping is NOT available on site. Free camping is available at Hampton Information centre in Hampton aprox 5km away, toilets are available. Paid options are also available with full amenities in crows nest and beyond please organise at your own accord.
What to bring:
-Warm clothes, gloves, beanie
-2L Water per dog + more for yourself
-Camping Gear
-Food for you and Dog
-Sled dog equipment if you have it (if not let us know what you need)
-Helmet and protective eyewear, headlight and bike light
-Closed Shoes
- Means of securing your dogs (chew proof- cable drops, metal crates)
No fires are permitted in the forest, You must take all your rubbish including Dog Poop with you and dogs must be on lead at all times.
