Join us in raising donations for Special Olympics Texas, a year-round movement that provides sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
This year, local Law Enforcement Officers will be assisting in the Special Olympics Tip-A-Cop fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse in Pearland, Texas.
Law Enforcement Officers will be alongside Texas Roadhouse’s wait staff to take orders, refill drinks, and ultimately assist the public in any way possible to collect tips, all of which will have a positive impact on our community and further support our local Special Olympic Athletes.
We ask that you take the family out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse on July 23rd and July 24th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a good meal and great conversations with police officers all while supporting a good cause. We will have some of the most spirited Special Olympic Athletes on-site alongside Police Officers to socialize with. Come be a part of such a special cause!
2025 Special Olympics Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser

For those that don’t know, throughout Texas, Law Enforcement Torch Runners (LETR) conduct many fundraisers to benefit Special Olympics Texas and more importantly, the athletes. Through LETR efforts, a scholarship fund is available to assist teams in their own communities. Funds are used by teams to offset expenses such as equipment, uniforms, transportation, and meals. Every year, Texas Law enforcement officers throughout the State carry the "Flame of Hope" through the streets of their communities to deliver the torch to the State of Texas Special Olympics Game.
Officers will be accepting cash, checks, and credit card donations. A QR code will also be provided and is currently open for donations.
