Talk - A Penobscot Sense of Place

Join us for a free talk by James Eric Francis Sr. Mr. Francis is Penobscot Nation’s Director of Cultural and Historic Preservation and Tribal Historian. He studies the relationship between Maine Native Americans and the landscape. He's an accomplished historical researcher, photographer, filmmaker, and graphic artist, and co-produced a film on race relations as it pertains to Native American people in Maine and the Canadian Maritimes. Mr. Francis has served on numerous advisory boards for cultural institutions around New England.
