Are you a young music lover with big dreams of creating your own beats, songs, or soundtracks? Our beginner music production program is the perfect place to start your creative journey!
We’re excited to announce that pre-registration is officially open for The Music Garden’s all-new Music Production Program classes for ages 11–18, starting this the week of August 18th, 2025!
Whether you’ve never touched a DAW or you’re already writing songs, this course is perfect for anyone who has ever dreamed of making their own music. Our expert instructors will guide you step by step covering everything from:
- Sound design basics: Understanding the building blocks of great music
- Mixing & editing: Learning how to craft polished, professional-sounding tracks
- Hands-on experience: Get access to state-of-the-art equipment and industry-standard software

About The Class
Designed specifically for kids and teenagers (ages 11-18), our dynamic 15-week beginner Music Production Program introduces students to the exciting world of digital music in a fun, hands-on, and age-appropriate way. Explore pop, RnB, hip-hop, EDM, and game music while learning the basics of beat-making, songwriting, recording, mixing, and producing music using industry standard tools.
With guidance from experienced instructors who are passionate about both music and teaching, students will explore:
- How to build a song from scratch
- Recording vocals and instruments
- Creating beats and melodies
- Sound effects and audio editing
- Music production software and tools
- Creative collaboration with peers
Our goal is to inspire confidence, creativity, and technical skills in a supportive, no-pressure environment. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and a love for music!
