Monthly Ride - Payson

Meet at the Mazatzal Casino in Payson at 10:00am and we'll plan to ride Hwy 260 W to Overgaard. Perfect ride to BEAT THE HEAT!
Head North on Rt 87. Turn right on Rt 260 heading East.


First stop is approximately 31 miles to the Mogollon Rim Visitor Center on the right.

Leave the Visitors Center on Rt 260 East and ride approximately 24 Miles to the Chevron gas station on the right just past Heber.

Ride 5 more miles to the Wild Women Saloon and Grill at Bison Ranch in Overgaard.
Lunch at the Wild Women Saloon and Grill.

Return West on Rt 260 approximately 27 miles to Rt 300, Rim Road. The right turn off to Woods Canyon Lake will be just over 3 miles, then another 1.5 miles to the lake.

There is a small general store at the lake for snacks and drinks.

Return to Rt 260 West and left onto Rt 87 South to the Mazatzal Casino. Approximately 36 miles lake to casino.

The ride is a total of 127 miles up and back including stops.
