Mindfulness Mandalas

It is increasingly important to have a calm and grounded mindset when dealing with the world we live in. Spend an hour in the gardens of Payneham Community Centre appreciating the beauty of the trees and plants growing there. Collect a few items to meditate on as you contribute to the group mandala that we will create, fostering positivity, community spirit, and a creative mindfulness. You can take photos, but the mandala must be left to the elements.

Wear a hat and sunscreen as this activity will be outside.

Bring a towel or cushion to sit on as we will be working on a grassed area.

One Planet Market is held from 9am – 12 noon (10am-1pm in winter) on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Payneham Community Centre.

We welcome people to come and sell, buy or exchange garden produce, home-made food and second hand goods. The market features:

• Morning tea

• LETS (Local Exchange Trading System) members stalls

• Freecycle

• Information table – join Sustainable Communities SA, renew your membership, information and resources on sustainability events and activities

• Workshops on practical topics at 10.30am

• To foster community relationships, resilience and self-reliance.
