Lincocutting/Tote Bag Workshop

Join me at the Paxton Activities Center as we explore this retro art form making a comeback - Linocutting (a.k.a. Linoprinting)!

Using carving tools, we will cut away pieces of a linoleum block to reveal our desired image. Ink is rolled onto the raised carvings on the block, and pressed onto a surface- in this case, a cotton tote bag - and a beautiful, custom image is revealed that can be used time and time again!

The price of this workshop is $40, and includes use of all tools, guided instruction, a cotton tote and 5 blank greeting cards onto which we will transfer your finished image! At the end of the workshop, take home your creations as well as your linoleum block so you can continue to create long after the class has concluded!

Class start time is 3PM Mountain, 4PM central.
