Perfect Storm West is ready to hear the sweet, sweet sound of dice on our wargame tables again! Join us for our 8-week 40K Incursion League . This league will kick off Monday September 29th and will use all available books/rules from September 22nd and older. We will not add in balance changes or dataslate changes if they occur during the league so have a copy of your rules!
Format: 40K Matched Play Strike Force (2000pt) League - Asymmetric War Missions
Duration: 4 two-week rounds, pairings announced the end of the week prior. Time extensions for holidays to be considered.
Pairings: Matches will be announced in Discord and we will use the SESH calendar to track/schedule matches. Find a day that works for you and your opponent and lock it in!
Entry Fee: $25
Prizes: Top half of standings will win $35 store credit and bragging rights, bottom half win a 12mL paint pot. Best painted army wins a special curated prize. Paint job vote happens round 4.
**Army Requirements**
1 - Players are expected to have all necessary rulebooks to play (Physical or digital) their army, which usually requires a set of the Core Rules and a codex at minimum, along with any relevant errata/FAQ documents. Chapter Approved 2025-2026 Mission Pack will be used - cards are highly recommended and available for purchase.
2 - Armies must be Battle-Forged. Your army must be majority Games Workshop parts, but kitbashing and conversions are welcomed. 3D Printed Super Heavy models are disallowed.
3 - There is no painting requirement, however armies of the same codex with a different sub-faction must be visibly different. There will be a prize for best painted army!
4 - Strike Force- Your army will be 2000 points. All units and enhancements are locked in for the entire league, wargear may be updated between rounds (as long as there is no point change)
**Additional Info**
Pairings and mission will be announced by Monday that begins the round. Will be announced earlier if results are turned in earlier.
Games may be played earlier in the two-week period, if unable to coordinate with your opponent please speak with the TO to accommodate. If one player is able to show up to their game and the other isn't, the present player wins.
Standings will be based on Wins ► VP
