Girl Scout Daisies-Cadettes: Join us for an unforgettable morning of tennis instruction, fun, and empowerment during our Girl Scout Tennis Workshop run by certified tennis professionals with USTA Eastern at East Side Park Courts in Paterson, NJ.
This exclusive, FREE event for registered Girl Scouts (ages 5-14) is hosted in partnership by Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey, United States Tennis Association Eastern (USTA Eastern), Junior Tennis Foundation, and Women’s Sports Foundation.
Step onto the courts and learn the fundamentals of tennis from certified tennis professionals with USTA Eastern! No prior tennis experience is needed, and players of all levels are welcome to attend.
With expert guidance, you’ll learn about:
● Grip and swing techniques for various strokes
● Footwork, movement and hand-eye coordination
● Team-based play and an introduction to sportsmanship
All racquets, balls and equipment will be provided free of charge during the event. Wear your sneakers/tennis shoes and come to learn and have fun. Beyond the courts, you can also enjoy interactive Girl Scout activities.
All Girl Scouts must be accompanied by a chaperone (no more than two) to participate in this exciting day.
