The Pasco City Council has narrowed the search for a new City Manager to three finalists:
-Harold Stewart
-David Stockdale
-Eric Swanson
Meet the Finalists
Residents and community stakeholders are invited to meet the three finalists at the Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center in Pasco on Sunday, July 13th at 7:00PM. Formal interviews with City Staff, Councilmembers, and members of the community will follow on July 14th.
About the City Manager Finalist Candidates
Harold Stewart is a seasoned government executive with over 20 years of public service, including 12 years in city management. Most recently Stewart served as City Manager for Warrensburg, MO for six years and currently serves as City Manager of Minot, ND. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from University of Kansas.
David Stockdale is a long-serving local government leader with over 18 years of public service experience across state, county, and city government, including the past nine years as a chief executive. Stockdale served as City Administrator for the City of Prosser, WA and is currently City Manager for the City of Umatilla, OR. Stockdale has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Brigham Young University Hawaii and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oregon.
Eric Swanson is an established public executive and retired Air Force Colonel with over 30 years of strategic leadership in city management, emergency response, economic development, and infrastructure development. Swanson currently serves as the City Manager for Phoenix, OR; a position he has held since 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from University of South Dakota.
