Mechaphil Corporation will be hosting a seminar on rice milling, compressed air systems, and smart farming with agricultural drones!⚙️🌾
Their three-part seminar will be held on October 2, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. at the Amorsolo Room, during the event proper. The discussions will give participants a practical overview of how modern rice milling works and the technologies that support it. It will cover three interconnected topics:
🌾 An Overview of the Rice Milling Process – Led by industry expert Enrique V. Lazarte, this will discuss Mechaphil's full range of innovations for milling applications, and how efficient milling ensures consistent quality and output.
🌾 Compressed Air System in Milling Application – Every feedmill, ricemill, or flourmill relies on compressed air to operate. It powers air cylinders that control slide gates and outlets on conveying equipment, pneumatic cylinders to open and close bins, and atomizers for spraying liquids and fuels (such as in boilers). Compressed air is also essential for cleaning. The required air pressure is typically 5–7 barg, with flow rates and capacity depending on the size of the mill and the specifications of the equipment supplier. This talk, led by Paul Albino and Abbie Bay, will break down these applications and requirements, showing why compressed air systems are vital to milling operations.
🌾 DJI Agras Drones: The Future of Smart Farming – Industry expert Adrian Desiderio will discuss the specifications and capabilities of DJI Agras drones, and how they are reshaping modern agriculture through innovative, precision farming solutions.
