Reimagining Work Vol. 13: Healthcare in LA

Healthcare intersects with some of life’s most ordinary rhythms and its most profound and vulnerable moments. Whether working as physicians, dentists, therapists, or in any of the innumerable fields in the healthcare industry, those in healthcare carry a sacred responsibility to offer skillful care and tangible expressions of hope.

What does it look like to faithfully serve God as a healthcare professional in a city as vibrant and multifaceted as Los Angeles?

As part of CFWLA's mission to reframe vocation and reshape culture, we invite you to our thirteenth Reimagining Work gathering—a morning dedicated to equipping and inspiring those in LA called to the challenging field of healthcare.

This gathering will feature a presentation from Dr. Daniel Rogstad, Senior Associate Dean for Medical Student Education at Loma Linda University. Following his talk, a panel of leading healthcare practitioners from across Los Angeles will share insights into how God is working through their vocations and sustaining them through the unique challenges of their fields. The evening will conclude with breakout sessions that dive into special topics in healthcare.

Admission: Registration for the gathering is $40 and covers admission, light fare and refreshments.

When: Saturday, October 11, 2025, 9 AM - 12 PM. Doors open at 8:45 AM

Where: Providence Christian College, 464 E Walnut St, Pasadena, CA 91101

Parking: There is a free parking lot located off Los Robles Avenue and Ford Place for attendees. There is also some street parking available throughout the surrounding streets, particularly on Ford Place and some on Los Robles Avenue.
