Quantum for Kids @ Caltech

Get ready for a hands-on day of science, creativity, and exploration at Quantum for Kids !

This event is designed for middle schoolers, but younger and older kids are welcome too (parents are encouraged to participate). Attendees will rotate through interactive activity zones, where they’ll explore quantum science through demos, crafts, coding projects, and more. Everyone gets a “Quantum Explorer Passport” to track their activities throughout the day.

Please register one ticket per child. Parents/guardians do not need a separate ticket. Space is limited and there is a lot of interest, so please only sign up if you're confident you can attend. If your plans change, release your ticket so another family can come.

• 🎫 Welcome Station: Pick up your event map and Quantum Explorer Passport
• 🧪 Quantum Demos: Hands-on science activities exploring various quantum phenomena and concepts
• 🎨 Crafts Zone: Learn quantum concepts through creative, take-home arts and crafts
• 💻 Coding Zone: Create simple simulations and games using Scratch
• ❓ Ask a Scientist: Parents and kids are invited to chat with real researchers and get their questions answered
• 🧩 Scavenger Hunt: Explore the event by solving clues and checking off your activity passport
