Why did Jesus have to die?

Jesus was a great teacher. Christians believe He is God, and through Him we receive salvation. But why the cross? Why were the crucifixion and resurrection necessary? Couldn’t God have chosen another way?

These are the questions we will be wrestling with at this week’s Bridge Course at Sovereign Grace Church of Pasadena.
