What is Thermography?
If you have not had one, this screening is completely non-invasive—pain-free, radiation free, and touchless. Although it has become popular with women as a breast health screening (it is safe and effective even for women with implants or dense breast tissue), both men and women use it as a safe and easy way to look for dysfunction in the body. It is no different than getting your picture taken except that thermography uses a highly sensitive infrared camera that detects dysfunction and inflammation in the body. It can help determine a source of pain, vascular issues, the condition of the lymphatic system, injuries and joint problems, and dysfunction in various organs including the thyroid, heart, liver and colon.
Tulsa Breast Center works with a team of medical doctors that reads and interprets the images. Reports are usually returned within 2-3 business days.
What is the cost?
Breast thermography ($225), Upper body thermography ($299) and Full body thermography ($399) will be offered.
90 day Follow up breast screenings are $150.
