Oyster Reef Building Bonanza Paddle Out

We're going to install over 2,000 oyster rag pots on this low tide day and we need your help. We will meet at the end of 80th Ave E (Wellon Ranch Road) at 8AM, sign in, launch kayaks (you must bring your own, and paddle about half a mile to Eileen Reef where we will install several thousand oyster rag pots (ORPs) in what should be about shin-deep water.

You will NEED your own Kayak or Paddle Board and an anchor.

You MUST wear closed toed shoes & dress for the weather that day.

The water will be shallow, but it will still be cold.

Pack a lunch or snacks! Bring water do drink!

Folks who did this with us in December REALLY LOVED IT and it was a ton of fun!

EXTRA SPECIAL HELPERS NEEDED

We would LOVE SOME HELP with mobilization (Friday, Feb 27th at 2:00PM) and demobilization (Saturday Feb 28th 1:00PM). This part will consist of moving bins from our trailers onto our work floats and moving empty bins from floats back into trailers. It's MUCH easiter with some extra hands to help!
