National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event “designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement. The goal is to heighten crime prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.”
It’s also a perfect way to get to know your neighbors better. Communities throughout the country participate in activities on this night including parades, block parties, movie nights and cookouts.
This year’s event will be TUESDAY AUGUST 5, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Harford Park community building, 2522 Linwood Rd. Come meet your Harford Park neighbors, local police representatives and politicians, enjoy refreshments, and find out how to make our community safe! And… there may be a fire truck for the kids (both big and little)!
Additionally, we will have representatives from the YMCA and the MVA with information and giveaways, as well as door prizes of two family packs of tickets to this year's Maryland State Fair!
