Summer Plein Air Journey - Sun, Sea, and Sand with Carla Flegel

Capture the coastal magic of the famous Parksville Beach.

Previous experience is not required.

All art materials provided for this class. Just bring hat, sunscreen, water bottle, water and container for painting, and a folding chair.

About the Instructor: Carla Flegel has explored oils, acrylics and has recently settled on watercolour as her medium of choice. She loves the unpredictability as water, paint and paper meet, and how it paints itself if you let it.

Carla is a familiar figure painting outdoors in the Oceanside area and has recently returned from a trip to Italy with a sketchbook full of plein air watercolour paintings.
