Join us to shape the future of our neighbourhood!

Discover the next steps for encouraging sensitive infill housing while protecting our wildlife and ecological health.

Who: Everyone is welcome!

Last year, 96% of neighbours emphasized the importance of protecting biodiversity and tree cover in a door-to-door survey on ecologically sensitive development. Building on your input, our neighbourhood working group has drafted a proposed Ecological Buffer Development Permit Area (DPA), which we hope will be included in this year’s update to the Official Community Plan (OCP). This proposal has also been endorsed by the Pioneer Crescent Neighbourhood Residents Association (PCNRA).

Come learn more and hear from the Mount Arrowsmith Biosphere Reserve about how ecologically sensitive development aligns with the vision for our world-renowned biosphere.
