Join us for a joyful, interactive day designed for kids and their families to get curious about food, sustainability, and being changemakers in their own kitchens and communities.

​Together, we’ll explore where our food comes from, how we can reduce waste through upcycling, and how cooking can be both creative and kind. Oh, and we’ll read a story or two about a certain pineapple with BIG dreams. 🍍✨

​🌟 What's Included:

​👩‍🌾 Garden Tour – Get your hands in the dirt with a visit to Soup 'N Ladle’s beautiful community garden. Learn about growing food and why local food systems matter.

​🍲 Kid-Friendly Cooking Class – Learn how to make a delicious, healthy recipe using upcycled or garden-fresh ingredients. Yes, you’ll get to eat it too! 😋

​📖 Pineapple Friends Storytime – Gather 'round for a read-aloud of a Pineapple Friends book that sparks imagination, empathy, and courage to solve problems big and small.

​💬 Social-Emotional Learning + Problem-Solving – We’ll weave in gentle, age-appropriate activities that help kids connect with how they feel, how they think, and how they can be part of positive change!
