The Point Park Concert Series is held at Point Park in Downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia. Hosted on the second Friday of the month in June, July, and August the concerts draw crowds who want to listen to amazing music outside along the river. The concerts are free and open to the public.
Taking the stage in August will be TRUCKSTOP. TRUCKSTOP (T-Stop) is a West Virginia based heavy metal, and thrash band, that launched In 2020. The five piece outfit is made up of guitarist, Jerry Larew Jr; vocalist, Nash Morris; drummer, Austin Erb; bassist, Justin Ewing; and guitarist, Dylan Hibbard.
They have opened for Quiet Riot, Lynch Mob, Ace Frehley, Bullet Boys, Kings of Thrash, Blaze Bayley, Everclear, TX2, Deadlands, Sponge, Mike Tramp, Tantric, The Last In Line, Bastardane, Death Angel, Metal Church, Taproot, Struggle Jennings, Smile Empty Soul, Adelitas Way, 10 years, Agent Orange, D.R.I, Bobaflex and more.
***No reserved seating will be sold for the concert series this year, however we will still have a small amount of reserve seats set up.
