Pet and Backpack Blessing Outdoor Worship

Bring your furry, feathered, and scaled family members for a special outdoor worship experience in our Memorial Garden! Students and school staff are also invited to bring your backpacks and bags to receive a blessing for the coming school year. Finally, we’ll bless the backpacks filled with donated supplies our congregation collected for Kids Above All’s 2025 Back To School Backpack Drive. Don’t miss this unique service!

What to Bring:
- Your pets (on leashes or in carriers)
- Lawn chairs or blankets
- Water for you and your pets

This special service combines our love for God's creatures with our commitment to supporting students in our community. Whether you're a pet parent, a student or simply want to be part of this joyful celebration, all are welcome!

Location: First UMC Park Ridge, 410 Grant Place (the address for our parking lot)

Our parking lot and primary entrance are located on Grant Place. Come to this address rather than our mailing address, which will take you to our front door on Touhy Avenue.
