Join me, Sulekha, in this interactive workshop and learn how to practise getting into Balancing poses, backbends and inversions safely.
This workshop is designed to understand why balancing, inversions and backbends are a part of Yoga practise. It will be catered for all levels.
We will practise postures that might encourage us to let go of our fears, explore our capabilities and perhaps set some goals.
There are various benefits to practising balancing postures, inversions and bending backwards. Some of which are:
> Increasing focus
> Building strength
> Increasing the life of your spine
> Easing back pain
> Increasing the circulation of blood
> Calming the central nervous system
and lots more to share with you at the workshop.
We will learn to use the right muscles and how we can strengthen ourselves mind and body to get into poses we fear we cannot.
You will surprise yourself and walk away feeling strong and content.
Yoga is not about arriving at a destination, it is the journey that matters the most.
Please note: Inversions are not always standing upside down, there are various poses to explore as part of inversions.
As always we will finish our workshop with a delicious and wholesome meal.

All other equipment is available at the studio.
Please arrive at least 15minutes prior to start time to get comfortable into your space. Eat a light breakfast at least 2hours before start time of the workshop.
