Cherokee History Symposium 2025
Presented by the CBIHP Foundation, Cherokee Nation, and BLK-FTHR Media & Positive Energy Church. Located at the Chota Conference Center in Tahlequah, OK, at 3307 Seven Clans Ave (same building as the Cherokee Casino). This event is a nontraditional take on the symposium format. The symposium has been set up to entice people from all walks of life to take part in & enjoy a day of history, music, art, food, & fun. CBIHP has gathered some of the world's leading Native American historians and artists, great musicians(from blues legends to up-and-coming artists from all genres), and art being displayed & sold by Native American artists. Presenting historians include Karen Cooper, Dr. Dan Littlefield, Dawni Saloli, and more. Artists include worldwide Blues legend Tony Mathews, up & coming regional musical artists, & Native American art vendors. A combination of education & entertainment that will captivate the history buffs as well as those just looking for a family fun day.
