Lace up your running shoes and gather your furry friends because the Miners Day Bark City 5K is back and better than ever! This delightful event is the perfect way to kick off Miners Day morning with a burst of energy and camaraderie.
The Miners Day Bark City 5K serves as a vibrant fundraiser for the Park City Twilight Rotary Club, with a portion of the proceeds supporting our wonderful local animal organizations. Get ready for some fun – we'll have water, treats, and swag items for both dogs and humans!
Our well-marked course invites you to enjoy a leisurely jog or walk with friends and family at your own pace during this enjoyable "time yourself" event. Dogs are not only welcome but encouraged to attend on leashes and in fabulous costumes! Strollers are also welcome!
Both the start and finish lines are located in City Park, right next to the historic Miners Hospital. The beautiful out-and-back course winds along the scenic Rail Trail, and you’ll find an aid station at the turnaround point, where water and tasty treats will be available for both you and your four-legged companions.
There’s no entry fee to join the excitement of the Miners Day Bark City 5K! - But we would really appreciate your donations!
The race kicks off promptly at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 1, 2025.
