Nancy's Underscore is an invitation to notice what's arising in and around us when we enter a space of collective improvisation.
It is a map, providing us a compass to understand where we are, giving possibilities and perspectives, guiding us lightly toward a more conscious and embodied space.
How to create an environment where I can deeply welcome what's alive in me in this moment, and joyfully watch it be taken and transformed by the spirit of the collective to write and draw what we have to say about our presence here, our time, our dreams, our hopes, our struggles, our vulnerabilities, our ways of relating...
What?
Four sessions of practice and research around the Underscore, this light structure for Contact Improvisation dance developed by Nancy Stark Smith.
We will look at the score closely, touching also related topics and disciplines like dance styles and energies, sound, music voice, drawing, writings, meditation /reflexion, group relations etc.

Nous examinerons en détail la partition et toucherons des sujets et disciplines qui lui sont liés : styles et énergies de danse, son, musique, voix, dessin, écriture, méditation/réflexion, relations de groupe etc.
