About Porchlight:
Porchlight was founded by Arline Klatte and Beth Lisick in 2002 with the goal of getting people of the San Francisco Bay Area onstage to tell their personal stories. Our resident musical director, pianist Marc Capelle, keeps time on stage with great showmanship and panache. Porchlight has also produced shows in collaboration with cultural institutions such as Litquake, SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Film Festival, the Bay Area Science Festival, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the Contemporary Jewish Museum, Shakespeare & Co. in Paris, and the Hay on Wye festival in Nairobi.
