In the summer of 1937, author of the beloved Little House books, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and her husband Almanzo moved from the Rock House on their property in Mansfield Mo., back into the farmhouse they loved. Call on Laura in September of that year. Her 4th book, On the Banks of Plum Creek, is about to be published and Laura prepares for what will be her only national public speaking engagement, for the Detroit Book Fair. Listen as Laura reminisces about her childhood, her marriage, and the "truth" of her tales.
