Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a fun, family-friendly event that raises money to support 1-to-1 mentoring programs for youth facing adversity in your community. It’s our largest fundraising event of the year, making it possible to support over 430 Bigs and Littles across Androscoggin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot, Somerset, and Waldo Counties.
How to Participate:
Form a Team: Gather your friends, family, or coworkers and create a team for the event.
Pay the Registration Fee:
The $10 registration fee covers your t-shirt and a game of bowling. You can register and pay the fee online or with a paper form.
Fundraise:
While there’s no minimum required, we encourage teams to raise funds to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine.
Have Fun Bowling: Join us on event day for a night of bowling and celebrate the impact of your efforts!
Why Fundraise?
Money raised helps support kids and their families in the programs of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine. Your fundraising efforts will help us match Bigs and Littles, ensure child safety, fund healthy activities and snacks, and provide professional support to build and sustain long-lasting mentoring relationships. It costs about $2,000 to support a match annually, and every dollar raised helps create brighter futures for local youth.
Prize Drawing:
All teams that raise $500 or more will be eligible for a drawing of a prize to be awarded each hour during the event!

We are having events throughout Mid-Maine. If this date and time do not work for you, you can still participate in a Bowl for Kids’ Sake event near you!
