2026 Weeding Day

All residents, non-residents, family and friends are welcome.

Starting at 9:30am, Jan 31st, assemble in the DOC cark park on Maui Pomare Road.


Things to bring:

- some gloves

- gumboots (we will have to walk though some boggy patches to get to the weeding area)

- a flax knife if you have one. Handy for cutting thick grasses.

- water

- and sun protection


We'll make sure there's some morning tea on hand to keep you refreshed.


Any cancellation due to the weather we'll aim to put out the day before via email and Facebook.
