Thrive Women’s Mentoring & Discipleship
In a world that applauds multitasking and endless hustle, it’s easy to find ourselves with too many irons in the fire—juggling roles, responsibilities, and even good intentions. It’s hard to “Thrive” when we feel that it’s all we can do to survive When our energy is scattered, our spiritual life quietly slips to the margins.
Jesus said, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…” (Matthew 6:33). Not second. Not squeezed in. First.
Staying spiritually focused isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing what matters most. It’s choosing intimacy with God over busyness, depth over distraction, and presence over performance.
Know Your Calling—And Walk in It
God didn’t call you to everything. But He does have a plan for your life. A call, an assignment. When we know our spiritual assignment, we stop chasing every opportunity and start pursuing the ones that matter.
Your gifts matter. Your presence matters. Your obedience matters.
Reflection:
What is one area in your life that you need to make some changes?
What are some things that you need to lay aside and things you may need to start doing? (Hebrews 12:1)
How can you be like Martha and take care of daily task but also like Mary and take time to sit at the Masters feet?
Have you asked God recently, “What plans do you have for me?”
Thrive Faith Declaration:
I will draw near to the Lord for He says in James 4:8 “ Draw near to me and I will draw near to You”
I will hear His voice John 10:27 says “My sheep hear my voice”
I will take time to sit at His feet and give him my undivided attention
I will be his hands and feet reaching out to others
(Matthew 25:35-40)
I will seek to encourage others in their journey of life. (Philippians 2:4)
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two are better than one,
because they can help each other succeed
If either of them falls down,
One can reach down and help the other up.
