Volunteers Intro Morning

Are you interested in volunteering at the Repair Cafe?

We need your help, we need a pool of volunteers, people who can mend electrical and mechanical items, do sewing and mending, can solder, do wiring, can fix small household items, etc. Your commitment is just 2 hours per month on the 2nd Saturday and you will be rewarded with several cups of tea/coffee, cake and the warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing you are giving back to the community and saving items from landfill. It's also a way to get out of the house and meet people, make new friends and have a chat. Also if you are not repair minded, but you know others that might be, please share this with them or your friends. If you are a mending whizz and can commit to 2 hours per month we would love to call on your services and if we can get enough people in the volunteers pool you can arrange to share the volunteering with them.
