What does the workshop cover?
This workshop is a fun opportunity to create a beautiful hand printed hanging bird garland. You will enjoy the freedom to create interesting printed papers, using wild flowers and foliage. We will be using ink and a roller to print and stamp our nature mark making onto blotting paper. This is a little messy, so aprons are available on the day.
From our papers we will cut out by hand our lovely swallow templates, that we will then stitch on a sewing machine into out hanging garland. This could also be sewn by hand and threaded with strings.
You will come away with a finished garland that you can hang up in your hope as a lovely display.
Who the workshop is suitable for
Anyone, you will need no prior experience to take part in this workshop. Just come along and enjoy the creativity of printing from nature.

Our very own Sam is leading this workshop. Sam is a very talented artist and will be sharing his skills with you.
Other things you need to know
The workshops at LilyBoo have bought together people for a chat, to learn something new and there is always lots of laughter. Please note that the course is held upstairs, up a flight of steep steps but once there, you will have everything you need. We do provide refreshments.
