Echoes of Silence: A tribute to Bernice Cilia on then third anniversary of her passing

It has now been three years since Bernice was taken from us, and her absence is felt every day. Echoes of Silence began as a way to keep her memory present and to create a quiet moment for anyone who has lived through, or been touched by, domestic or gender-based violence.

This year, we will walk together once more. The march remains simple and silent, but it carries a purpose: to remember Bernice, to stand with those who are hurting, and to show that these experiences cannot be ignored or pushed aside.

Everyone is welcome — those who knew Bernice, those who connected with her story, and those who carry their own experiences. You are free to come as you are, whether you bring sadness, strength, or simply the wish to stand alongside others.
