特富野古道為原鄒族人的獵徑，後段為日治時期「水山線」鐵路。頂湖部落周圍5座山可一天連走：凸龜山、芙蓉山、小百岳大凍山(#60)、霹靂山、樂野山。(二天公里數13km+12km)
