IFTF Foresight Talk: Using Strategic Foresight to Imagine the Future of Connected Communities

Across the country, people are redefining what it means to belong and how, where, and with whom they find community. The YMCA of the USA, a national nonprofit whose driving motivation is building robust communities, has been consistently utilizing foresight to think more expansively and ask better questions about changing communities in the U.S.

Join us on Thursday, December 11 at 9am Pacific Time when we’ll talk to two senior leaders at YUSA, Alison Huppert, Director of Strategy and Quality Practices, Innovation, and Heather Hughes, Senior Vice President, Strategic Alignment, about centering foresight methods during a full-day gathering of 200 staff members to develop 10-year forecasts reimagining the future of community.

Long-time Foresight Talk webinar attendees might remember when we hosted Huppert and Hughes in December 2024 to discuss their national signals club. We look forward to seeing how their foresight has evolved over the past year and what new lessons they have to share.
