Charity wood splitting event for local wood bank

Start a Spark of Central Virginia is hosting a charity wood splitting event aimed at providing firewood to families in need during the colder months. We are seeking volunteers from the local community to come together to split and stack wood, turning a physical challenge into a meaningful way to give back. This event not only help raise awareness about energy hardship in the region but also strengthened community bonds through teamwork and shared purpose. Any Proceeds and donations collected during the event will go directly toward supporting firewood and other heating assistance programs, ensuring that more households stay warm this winter.
