Advent 3 Service - Joy

All are welcome to attend this Sunday's 9:00 a.m. service, led by Rev. Anne Bennett and Kathriona Benvie.

Advent joy is a deep, lasting gladness rooted in God's presence and promises, distinct from fleeting happiness, symbolizing the hope and salvation Jesus brings, represented by a pink candle on the Advent wreath during the third week (Gaudete Sunday) as anticipation for Christmas builds. It's a resilient joy found in God's faithfulness even amidst hardship, leading to praise and sharing the good news, as the shepherds did.
