Come one, come all to Palm Springs Open Horus Heresy 2025
-July 26-27 at The Riviera in Palm Springs, CA
-Pricing is $120 per person which covers entry to the event and gaming on both days.
-Update 24 June 2025: Leaks are showing 3.0 releasing on the 26th of July, therefore this will be a 2.0 event. Please plan accordingly.
-3k Point Games, no restrictions on named characters, Rites of War, etc. The only requirement is that your force org(s) are legal as per GW's rule books.
-2 Games Per Day, nice and mellow
-Custom Missions to keep things fun and fluffy
-Prizes for Best Painted Army, Best Painted Mini, and a few others.
-As it is Horus Heresy, there will be no "best general won every game by tabling the opponent". During list construction, think if your list is oppressive or not, and if so, maybe tone it back.
-We are providing our own terrain, so the tables will be thematic and fun-FAQ wise, we are just relying on GW's released FAQs and Errata
-Legacy Units, Blackshields, and so on are all legal and encouraged. Bring the fluff.
-Please bring at least two printed copies of your list so your opponent can review before the game, we will not be inspecting lists or anything like that, it is just common courtesy and helps to avoid any surprises.
-Painted and based armies are required, just the standard three color minimum and simple basing. We of course encourage fully painted, weathered, beautiful armies, but everyone is at a different level and we understand that. To note, nobody will be turned away because a couple things didn't get painted on time. We are not the paint police.
